OLED LIGHT EXTRACTION FILMS HAVING INTERNAL NANOSTRUCTURES AND EXTERNAL MICROSTRUCTURES

The organic light emitting diode (OLED) having a light extracting film nanostructure inside and outside the microstructures for the device is disclosed. Light extraction film includes a flexible substantially transparent film , nano- structured layer of low refractive index is applied to the film , and planarization of the backfill layer that is applied over the high refractive index layer nanostructured . The external optical microstructures are applied to a flexible substantially transparent film on the surface of the nanostructured layer opposite side in order to improve the light extraction from the OLED element , providing a more uniform luminance distribution . ;
