PURPOSE: A precious metal supported catalyst dipped to even porosity carbon, the manufacturing method thereof, and a method of manufacturing Tetrahydrofuran from succinic acid using the catalyst are provided to have regular pore structure, have excellent physical property having wide specific surface area, and large pore volume, let the precious metal highly diffused inside the even pore of carbon carrier, and have excellent catalyst activity. CONSTITUTION: A precious metal supported catalyst comprises 100 parts by weight of even porosity carbon and 1~20 parts by weight of precious metal dipped in the carbon. Specific surface area of precious metal supported catalyst is over 900 m / g. The precious metal supported catalyst is used for manufacturing Tetrahydrofuran from the solution including succinic acid. The supported catalyst has total pore volume more than 1.26 cm^2 per catalyst 1 g. The precious metal is selected from the group of rhenium (Re), ruthenium (Ru), palladium (Pd), platinum (PT), rhodium (Rh) and the mixture.
