PURPOSE: An apparatus for detecting damage to a belt conveyor is provided to quickly detect whether or not a belt is damaged by detecting the rotation of a contact part with a sensor part when the contact part is rotated by self load due to the damage to the belt.;CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for detecting damage to a belt conveyor comprises a pair of roller parts(10), a weight part(20), and a detecting part(30).
