PURPOSE: An apparatus for detecting damage to a belt conveyor is provided to rapidly detect damage to a belt by allowing a roller unit to guide the damaged belt in the direction of a sensing unit and the sensing unit to sense the damaged belt.;CONSTITUTION: A device for detecting damage to a belt comprises a pair of fixing units (10), support units (20), roller units (30), and sensing units (40). The support units are coupled to the fixing units to be rotatable. The roller units are installed on the support units and support a belt. The sensing units are installed on the support units and sense the meandering of the belt.
