PURPOSE: An O-ring protective device for a vacuum degassing tank is provided to prevent damage to an O-ring generated when slag attached to the inner side of an inner cover is fallen while separating a cover as the O-ring is protected by the cover while separating the cover after a vacuum degassing process is finished.;CONSTITUTION: An O-ring protective device for a vacuum degassing tank comprises a cover(110), a frame(120), a support unit(130), and a cover returning member(150). The cover can cover a part of the upper part of the O-ring installed on the top surface of a body of the vacuum degassing tank. The frame is arranged under the cover and joined to the cover so that a rotating unit capable of being rotated is formed. The supporting unit fixes the frame to be rotatable at a position spaced from the body of the tank at a predetermined distance. The cover returning member is joined to one side of the frame and returns the frame at a predetermined position so that the cover covers the O-ring.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
