PURPOSE: A sudden unintended acceleration record device and a record method thereof are provided to efficiently film a pedal image for a moment when control is generated and predetermined time after the moment.;CONSTITUTION: A sudden unintended acceleration record device(220) of a vehicle comprises an outside image receiving unit(221), a pedal image film unit, a sensing unit, an activation treatment unit, a synchronization unit, and an upload unit. The outer image receiving unit receives images of the outside of the vehicle from a black box device(200). The pedal image film unit is installed in a position capable of seeing a pedal and films pedal images of the vehicle. The sensing unit senses vehicle control of a driver. The activation treatment unit responds to detection of the vehicle control of the driver and activates the pedal image film unit for predetermined time. The synchronization unit synchronizes the outside images and the pedal images.
