METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING FERRITE STAINLESS STEEL BY PREDICTING THE POSSIBILITY OF STICKING DEFECTS IN CONSIDERATION OF THE EXIT TEMPERATURE OF A ROUGHING MILL AND INITIAL ROLLING AMOUNT OF A FINISHING MILL FOR A MATERIAL AND MAINTAINING THE DEPTH OF STICKING DEFECTS OF THE MATERIAL BELOW A PREDETERMINED DEPTH
PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing ferrite stainless steel is provided to predict the possibility of sticking defects of a material by calculating a sticking sensitivity index, measure the depth of sticking defects, and feed the material back to a finishing process, thereby preventing sticking defects.;CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing ferrite stainless steel is as follows. A roughed material is hot-rolled by adjusting the initial rolling amount of a finishing mill. The possibility of sticking defects of the material is predicted by considering the exit temperature of a roughing mill and the initial rolling amount of the finishing mill. If the possibility of sticking defects is predicted, the depth of sticking defects is measured to determine whether the material has sticking defects. If the material has sticking defects, the material is fed back to the finishing process.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013;[Reference numerals] (AA) Finish rolling; (BB) ROT/Coiling; (CC) Hot final process; (DD) Sticking sensitivity = 7.0; (EE,HH) Yes; (FF) Measure the depth of the sticking defect; (GG) Sticking defect generated?
