MANUFACTURING METHOD OF STAINLESS STEEL PLATES WITH LESS SURFACE DEFECTS CAPABLE OF REDUCING SURFACE DEFECTS OF THE STEEL PLATE EDGE BY ADJUSTING EDGE AMOUNT DURING HOT ROLLING

摘要

PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of stainless steel plates is provided to fundamentally control surface defects of stainless steel by controlling piece edge amount in hot rolling process.;CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of stainless steel plates comprises the following step: micronizing the size of surface crystallization of edge part in the piece by width rolling both end parts of the stainless piece by using edge rolls in hot rolling process. The edge amount giving to the piece by the edge roll is set as 10-25mm. The surface crystallization of the edge part in the piece is 50 μm or less and is formed in a depth of 250 μm in a thickness direction.
