PURPOSE: A food waste discharging system of a marine structure and a food waste discharging method are provided to arrange an outlet of the food waste discharging system in the upper part of a draft, thereby smoothly discharging the food waste. CONSTITUTION: A food waste discharging system of a marine structure(10) comprises an on-off switch, a food waste discharging line(20), a remote control valve(21), and an outlet(30). The on-off switch is installed on a deck of the marine structure. The food waste discharging line is arranged in the marine structure. The remote control valve receives signals from the on-off switch, thereby passing or blocking the food waste. The outlet is formed in the upper part of a draft of the marine structure to be connected to a tip end portion of the food waste discharging line, thereby discharging the food waste to outside.
