PURPOSE: A hydraulic generating device for an auto transmission and a control method thereof are provided to improve fuel efficiency by recycling a fluid pressure generated more than needs.;CONSTITUTION: A hydraulic generating device for an auto transmission and a control method thereof comprise the following steps: a first oil pump(20) generates a fluid pressure necessary for a shift; a second oil pump(30) additionally generates a fluid pressure when a fluid pressure generated in the first oil pump is insufficient; a control unit(34) controls a pumping of the second oil pump; an oil tank(50) supplies oil to the first oil pump and the second oil pump; and an accumulator(40) stores a fluid pressure generated more than needs.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
