PURPOSE: An electromelting apparatus of glass is provided to improve the melting quality of glass and save energy consumption using an indirect heating operation and a direct heating operation.;CONSTITUTION: An electromelting apparatus of glass includes a supplying unit(140), and a melting furnace(100). The supplying unit supplies mixed inorganic glass materials. One or more heating elements are arranged in the melting furnace and melts the materials in a melting tank(101). The heating elements include a first heating element(111) and a second heating element(113). The first heating element is adjacently arranged to the melting tank and indirectly heats the materials based on the radiant heat. The second heating element is installed in the melting tank and directly heats the materials. The first heating element is a super kanthal(MoSi2) heating element. The second heating element is an electrode based on one of molybdenum(Mo), tin oxide(SnO2), and platinum(Pt).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
