USER TERMINAL HAVING FUNCTION CHECKING BANNED WORDS AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A user terminal including a prohibited word check function and a prohibited word check method thereof are provided to reduce costs for managing a prohibited word server by checking prohibited words in a user terminal. CONSTITUTION: A database(110) stores prohibited word files including prohibited words and a password key generating unit(120) generates a password key. A prohibited word file providing unit(130) provides the password key and the prohibited word files to a user terminal according to a request of the user terminal. If a text file having checked prohibited words is received from the user terminal, an effective file determining unit(140) determines a fingerprint included in the text file. If a password key included in the fingerprint is the same as the password key of the server, the effective file determining unit determines the effectiveness of the text file.
