PURPOSE: An air filter having a strengthened air cleaning function is provided to save energy because the high blast pressure of a main blower is not required.;CONSTITUTION: An air filter having a strengthened air cleaning function comprises a frame, a first filter (110), a high-voltage discharge unit (200), and a socket or terminal. The front and rear of the frame are open. The first filter is installed on a surface of the frame where air flows in. The high-voltage discharge unit is arranged on the rear of the first filter at right angles to the flowing direction of air. The socket or terminal is formed on one side of the frame to apply power to the high-voltage discharge unit.
