PURPOSE: A pyrene compound is provided to reduce surface resistance of a carbon nanotube/polycarbonate nanocomposite, thereby improving electromagnetic wave shielding rate and mechanical strength. CONSTITUTION: A pyrene compound is represented by chemical formula 1. In chemical formula 1, R is a linear or branched alkyl, or a functional group represented by chemical formula 1-a; and R' is a C1-4 linear or branched alkyl. As represented by a reaction formula 4, a manufacturing method of the pyrene compound includes a step of manufacturing a compound represented by chemical formula 1b, by reaction of compounds represented by chemical formula 4 and chemical formula 6, under the presence of a solvent and base. The surface of carbon nanotubes is modified by absorbing the pyrene compound to the surface of carbon nanotubes through a noncovalent bond.
