摘要

PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of naphthalene is provided to reduce the excessive use of a solvent, to reduce the capacity of a filter and a centrifuge, and to obtain high purity of naphthalene even by a simple process.;CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of naphthalene comprises a step of separating tar oil from coal tar; a step of obtaining a first purified material by melting and crystallizing the separated tar oil; and a step of obtaining a second purified material by crystallizing the first purified material. The step of separating the tar oil is conducted until the content of the crude naphthalene in the tar oil is up to 35-60 wt%.
