SURFACE PROCESSING METHOD OF A MAGNESIUM ALLOY, CAPABLE OF REDUCING A DARKENING PHENOMENON BY INCORPORATING AN ATMOSPHERIC PRESSURE PLASMA SURFACE TREATMENT PROCESS AND A PRE-PROCESSING USING A SILICATE ALKALINE SOLUTION
PURPOSE: A surface processing method of a magnesium alloy is provided to prevent a deformity of a salt water resistance or a film cohesive power after coating, and a fault including an exterior defect of a surface, a chemical conversion treatment, or a plating process etc. and to improve a mechanical property by securing a close adherence stability of a surface processing layer.;CONSTITUTION: A surface processing method of a magnesium alloy comprises the following steps: a surface of a magnesium alloy is polished (S10); a surface of the magnesium alloy in which a surface is polished is pre-processed with an alkaline solution including 1 - 5 weight% of potassium hydroxide, or 1 - 10 weight% of sodium hydroxide, and 1 - 5 weight% of tetra ethyl orthosilicate (S20); an atmospheric pressure plasma coating is processed on a surface of the magnesium alloy processed as the alkaline solution (S30); the atmospheric pressure plasma processing step uses an argon gas and a methane gas; and the surface grinding step uses a light grinding, a hair line, or a blasting method.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013;[Reference numerals] (S10) Step of polishing a surface of a magnesium alloy; (S20) Step of pre-processing the surface of a magnesium alloy with an alkaline solution; (S30) Step of processing an atmospheric pressure plasma coating on the surface of a magnesium alloy
