PURPOSE: A device and method for predicting the mileage of an electric bike is provided to minimize inconvenience by moving an electric bike to a charging station before the battery of the electric bike is discharged. CONSTITUTION: A device for predicting the mileage of an electric bike comprises a battery (10), a battery management system (20), a motor driver (30), a display unit (50), an interface unit (40), and a control unit (60). The battery supplies electricity to an electric bike. The battery management system manages the battery depending on the charging voltage, currents, and temperature change of the battery. The battery consumption is inputted to the motor driver. The display unit displays the available moving distance of the electric bike. The interface unit outputs the available moving distance of the electric bike to the display unit. The control unit receives the remaining capacity of the battery from the battery management system in real-time.
