PURPOSE: A continuous up-flow microbial fuel cell is provided to fundamentally prevent the back diffusion phenomenon of oxygen being supplied to a cathode into an anode. CONSTITUTION: A continuous up-flow microbial fuel cell (100) comprises an anode chamber (110) which includes an anode electrode (130) and anaerobe therein and has an inlet (190) in the lower part thereof; a cathode chamber (120) which includes a cathode electrode (140) therein, includes an air inlet (180), and has an outlet (195) formed in the upper part thereof; a waste trap (160) which connects the upper part of the anode chamber and the lower part of the cathode chamber to each other; and a resistant terminal (150) which connects the anode electrode and the cathode electrode to eternal wires.
