OPTIMIZED LENS OF UNIFORMITY AND LOSS FOR LED SOURCE

PURPOSE: A lens for LED light source is provided to remove internal reflection which can happen on the exit surface by applying an anti-reflective coating to the exit surface, thereby minimizing light loss. CONSTITUTION: A lens type cover is installed separately from LED light source. The lens type cover comprises optical glass or synthetic resin depending on the purpose. A first curved surface (R1) is formed inside of the lens type cover, and receives light radiated from the LED. A first straight line surface (S1) or a second curved surface (R2) is formed outside of the first curved surface. The curvature of the first curved surface is smaller than the curvature of the second curved surface. The light reflected from the second curved surface and a part of the LED light source center light are projected on a third curved surface (R3).
