BONDED FLUX, A WIRE, AND WELDING METAL FOR SUBMERGED ARC WELDING AND A SUBMERGED ARC WELDING METHOD, CAPABLE OF OBTAINING WELDING METAL EVEN AT A TEMPERATURE OF -60C
PURPOSE: The bonded flux, a wire, and welding metal for submerged arc welding and a submerged arc welding method are provided to improve low temperature toughness, thereby obtaining welding metal even at a temperature of -60C.;CONSTITUTION: The bonded flux for the submerged arc welding includes 25-35 wt% of MgO, 10-20 wt% of Al2O3, 12-22 wt% of CaF2, 10-20 wt% of SiO2, 10-15 wt% of CaO, 3, 0.6-1.2 wt% of Si, 0.10-0.80 wt% of ti, 0.15-0.40 wt% of Ca, and 2.0-5.0 wt% of one or more kinds of alkali metal oxides selected from a group comprising Na, K, and Li. The sum of the alkali metal oxides is the sum of values in which Na2O, K2O, and Li2O are converted into Na, K, and Li respectively. The content of Al is controlled less than 0.01 wt%.
