PURPOSE: A compressed semi-perforated sound absorbing ceiling material and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent the cut surface of a sound absorbing material from being exposed and to maintain a better sound absorption performance.;CONSTITUTION: A compressed semi-perforated sound absorbing ceiling material (100) comprises a sound absorbing layer (110), a cover layer (120), a coating layer (130), a semi-perforated hole (140), and a lateral member (150). The sound absorbing layer is composed of a sound absorbing material such as glass wool, ceramic wool, ceramic wool, polyethylene, and urethane foam. The cover layer is formed on both sides of the sound absorbing layer, and covers both sides of the sound absorbing layer. The coating layer is composed of paint such as an environment-friendly paint, and formed on one side of the cover layer. The semi-perforated hole is formed on the sound absorbing layer, the cover layer, and the coating layer; and provided with a sound absorption capsule (200).
