PURPOSE: A tool transfer apparatus is provided to transfer a tool port clamping unit between a tool magazine and a tool replacement unit by using a drive motor such as a servo motor and a ball screw, not a hydraulic cylinder, thereby accurately and stably transferring the tool port.;CONSTITUTION: A tool transfer apparatus comprises a guide plate (100), a support plate (200), a ball screw (400), and a tool port clamping unit (500). The tool port clamping unit is transferred to a tool replacement unit on the support plate by the rotation of the ball screw while clamping the tool port which is mounted on a tool magazine. The tool port clamping unit unclamps the tool port after the tool port clamping unit is transferred to a tool replacement unit.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
