MONITORING METHOD REAL-TIME FOULING POTENTIAL IN REVERSE OSMOSIS PROCESS FOR SEAWATER DESALINATION AND DESALINATION EQUIPMENT HAVING SUCH MONITORING FUNCTION

PURPOSE: A seawater desalinating device with a function for diagnosing fouling of a reverse osmosis membrane is provided to predict and monitor fouling of a reverse osmosis membrane based on a measured value through online and calculation with respect to the flux and pressure of flowing water through a seawater treatment device at the field. CONSTITUTION: A real time monitoring device (200) for a seawater treatment device comprises a transmitting and receiving unit and a control unit. The transmitting and receiving unit receives information from one or more sensors (111,112,113) installed in the seawater treatment device. The information comprises information about inflow water into the seawater treatment device and information about the flux and pressure of flowing water through the seawater treatment device. The control unit calculates the amount of materials contained in a reference unit of water based on the flux and pressure of the water in order to calculate fouling of a reverse osmosis membrane module in the seawater treatment device. The control unit performs a diagnosis and malfunction responding function according to the calculated fouling of the module.
