PURPOSE: A method of using calcium hypochlorite in a feed additive as an antibiotic alternative is provided to utilize the calcium hypochlorite as an antibiotic material. CONSTITUTION: A method of using calcium hypochlorite in a feed additive includes a step of using the calcium hypochlorite in the feed additive instead of an antibiotic material. A diluting agent or a flavoring agent is added to the feed additive for reducing the unique flavor of calcium hypochlorite.
