PURPOSE: A signal processing device and a signal processing method thereof are provided to implement a smooth image conversion by expressing an image signal in a unit which is smaller than the minimum expression range of the image signal.;CONSTITUTION: A signal processing device receives Nth input data and calculates an Nth parameter from the Nth input data (S501,S502). The device outputs a result which is calculated by using the Nth parameter and the Nth input data as output data (S503). The device receives (N+1)th input data and calculates a (N+1)th parameter about the (N+1)th input data (S504,S505). The device outputs the output data which is calculated by using the Nth parameter and output data which is calculated by using the (N+1)th parameter at least one time (S506).
