PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of foam glass is provided to shorten manufacturing time and reduce manufacturing cost while maintaining excellent performance of an insulating material by using an induction mode instead of a microwave mode.;CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of foam glass comprises following steps. Sixty to one hundred μm of glass powder is prepared. The glass powder, water based on a determined ratio, 10-30 volume% of sodium silicate liquid, a silicon-based antifoaming agent, surfactant are mixed. The mixture is put into a sealed container, the mixture is heated for a certain time with an induction heating mode, and the foam glass is dried. The silicon-based antifoaming agent is 0.1-5 volume%, and the surfactant is 1-10volume%.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
