PURPOSE: A high purity ruthenium powder manufacturing method using a liquefied reduction process is provided to manufacture a high purity ruthenium powder from a ruthenium compound such as ruthenium chloride (RuCl3). CONSTITUTION: A high purity ruthenium powder manufacturing method using a liquefied reduction process comprises the following steps. A solution which contains ruthenium and a solution which contains sodium borohydride are prepared (S110). A ruthenium powder is produced by adding the solution which contains the ruthenium compound to the solution which contains sodium borohydride, and then by adding a reducing agent to cause a ruthenium reduction reaction (S120). The produced ruthenium powder is filtered, washed, and dried (S130). The ruthenium compound is selected among ruthenium chloride, ruthenium-oxide, ruthenium carbonyl, and fluorination ruthenium.
