PURPOSE: An illumination device is provided to improve light efficiency and light distribution characteristics by controlling light distribution, and to generate a light of uniform intensity by light distribution control.;CONSTITUTION: An illumination device includes a light source module (10), a supporting part (20) and a cover part (40). The light source module includes a substrate (11) and more than one light emitting device (12) mounted on the substrate. The light source module is installed on one surface of the supporting part. The supporting part supports the light source module. The cover part is comprised in the front of the supporting part to cover the light source module, and has a spherical shape with open bottom as a whole, and transmits a light emitted from the light source module and radiates the light to the outside. The cover part comprises a plurality of first air holes (41) on the upper part of a center line in the horizontal direction of the cover part, and second air holes (42) on the lower part of the center line more than the first air holes.
