FRAME AGGREGATION METHOD IN WIRELESS MULTI-HOP NETWORK

PURPOSE: A frame aggregation method in a wireless LAN multi-hop network is provided to improve the overall performance of a network. CONSTITUTION: A frame which is transmitted from an initial source node (120) to a final forwarding node (140) is transmitted and received without separation into an A-MAC Protocol Data Unit (MPDU) which is aggregated in the source node. An A-MPDU which is aggregated while transmitting from a last forwarding node to a destination node is separated into an MPDU. The separated MPDU is processed through header and error checks (50), decoding (60, 70), block ACK rearrangement (80), defragmentation (90), and a mesh frame check (100). After the above processes are completed, an A-MAC Service Data Unit (MSDU) is separated into an MSDU.
