PURPOSE: A three-dimensional scanner and a scanning method are provided to project stripe patterns successively on an object and to processes the projected patterns, thereby extracting three-dimensional coordinates from two-dimensional data, three-dimensionally modeling the patterns by utilizing the extracted three-dimensional coordinates, and printing the patterns.;CONSTITUTION: A three-dimensional scanner includes a pattern printing unit (110), an image photographing unit (120), and an image processing unit (130). The pattern printing unit projects stripe patterns on an object. The image photographing unit generates images by photographing the stripe patterns projected on the object.
