PURPOSE: A gas modeling method, a gas modeling apparatus, a gas detection method, a gas detection apparatus, and a recording medium are provided to concretely comprehend components and the kind of a gas by comparing the characteristics of the gas with the characteristics of a gas model including specific components. CONSTITUTION: A data collection unit (110) collects n times gas density data of gases generated in an identical environment. A first normalization unit (120) normalizes each of the n gas density data and outputs a first normalized gas density to an nth normalized gas density. A varying time searching unit (130) searches a varying time point when a change in each of the first to nth normalized densities is greater than a reference value. A section separation unit (140) extracts a gas density in each of a first time range to mth time range including each varying time point of the first to nth normalized gas densities. A second normalization unit (150) performs a second normalization of the gas density extracted in each of the first to mth time ranges. A modeling unit (160) sets a representative value of the n normalized gas densities and outputs gas density model according to the representative value.
