METHOD FOR DETECTING GINSENG PATHOGENIC FUNGI USING MULTIPLEX PCR

PURPOSE: A multiplex PCR method is provided to identify the presence of pathogen in soil, to sort improper soil for cultivating ginseng out and to quickly and accurately diagnose ginseng disease. CONSTITUTION: A multiplex PCR method for detecting ginseng pathogen contains a primer set with a forward primer of sequence number 1 or 2 and a reverse primer of sequence numbers 3, 4, 5, and 6. A method for detecting the presence of Rhizoctonia solani, Fusarium solani, Pythium ultimum, and Cylindrocarpon destructans comprises the steps of: isolating pathogen DNA from a sample containing pathogen; and performing PCR of the isolated DNA.
