PURPOSE: An apparatus for heating the end portion of a material inside a heating furnace and a method for preventing the super-cooling of the end portion of the material inside the heating furnace using the same are provided to place the same adjacently to an extraction door for the furnace for a long time, thereby preventing the front end portion and the rear end portion of the material from being super-cooled.;CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for heating the end portion of a material inside a heating furnace includes a front end heating unit (210) and a rear end heating unit (220). The front end heating unit at the upper side of an extraction hole for the furnace jets combustion air and fuel to the front end portion of the material, and then ignites the combustion air and the fuel. The rear end heating unit at the lower side of the extraction hole jets the combustion air and the fuel to the rear end portion of the material, and then ignites the combustion air and the fuel. The front and the rear end portion heating unit respectively include burner parts and pipeline parts. The burner parts are arranged in the width direction of the material, and the pipeline parts feed the combustion air and the fuel to the burner parts.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
