PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a web roll, a winding method of a web roll, and an internal stress calculation method are provided to compute the winding conditions of a web by calculating the internal stress of the web and wind the web based on the computed winding conditions. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a web roll is as follows. A dummy roll for evaluation is manufactured by winding a web around a winding core. Multiple division models are formed by cutting the web roll in a width direction. The circumferential stress or radial stress of the web is computed based on the circumferential young's modulus, radial young's modulus, and winding tension profile of each division model. A fault generation stress range is computed from the fault generation winding diameter of the dummy roll and the computed stress of each winding diameter.
