3D SPACE RECOGNITION SENSOR MODULE SUITABLE FOR MINIATURIZATION BY EXPANDING THE MOTION DETECTION AREA

PURPOSE: A 3D space recognition sensor module is provided to reduce malfunction of missing the movement of an object and identify accurately the movement of the object by expanding the motion detection area.;CONSTITUTION: A three-dimensional (3D) space recognition sensor module (100) comprises a printed circuit board (PCB) (110), light emitting diodes (112), a light receiving element (114), partitions (118), and refraction means (130). The light emitting diodes are formed in one side of the PCB to irradiate light to in the motion detection area. The light receiving element detects light which is irradiated from the light emitting diodes and is reflected from an object. The partitions are formed between the light emitting diode and the light receiving element. The refraction means refract the light emitted from the light receiving element in a direction opposite to the alignment direction of the light receiving element in order to expand the motion detection area.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
