PURPOSE: A method and system for updating train control data by using a broadband wireless access system are provided to arbitrarily determine a train control data update point by determining the update point of the train control data through a ground device.;CONSTITUTION: A ground control device (110) includes a ground function control unit (112) which generates train control data and a ground wireless communication unit (114). The ground wireless communication unit transmits the train control data including identification information to identify the train control data to a train device (120) through a wireless network. The train device includes a train wireless communication unit (122) which identifies the identification information included in the train control data and a train control functioning unit (124). The train control functioning unit updates the train control data according to the control of the train wireless communication unit.
