PURPOSE: An operation controlling method for a compressor integrated with motor driven power steering (MDPS) is provided to shorten a delay time for switching an operation mode by controlling the deceleration of a motor and the on/off of a clutch at the same time.;CONSTITUTION: An operation controlling method for a compressor integrated with MDPS comprises an MDPS mode operation step, an air conditioning mode operation step, and an MDPS and air conditioning mode operation step. The MDPS mode operation step assists the steering of a driver by delivering the rotary force of a single motor when a first electromagnetic clutch is turned on. The air conditioning mode operation step operates an air conditioning mode in order to compress refrigerant for cooling the inside of a vehicle by delivering the rotary force of the single motor to a compressor when a second electromagnetic clutch is turned on.
