PURPOSE: A biometric information measuring apparatus included in smart clothes and a biometric information measuring method thereof are provided to collect the biometric information of a user with low power by controlling a body temperature measurement cycle based on the body temperature of the user which wears the smart clothes.;CONSTITUTION: A movement measuring unit (120) measures the movement of a user. A temperature measuring unit (110) measures the body temperature of the user. A communication unit (160) is connected to communicate with a mobile device of the user. A control unit (140) transmits the body temperature information measured by the temperature measuring unit to the mobile device. The control unit controls the measurement cycles of the movement measuring unit and the temperature measuring unit based on the body temperature information.
