PURPOSE: An ultra-small gold nano-particle for separating a glycoprotein for an N-coupled type, a manufacturing method thereof, and a method for separating the glycoprotein for the N-coupled type selectively are provided to separate selectively a specific N-coupled type glycoprotein from a complex biomaterial sample and a protein mixture simply and rapidly. CONSTITUTION: An ultra-small gold nano-particle for separating a glycoprotein for the N-coupled type comprises a gold nano-particle, a glutathione, and a hydrazide. The glutathione is combined in the gold nano-particle surface, and surrounds the gold nano-particle. The hydrazide is combined in an end part of the glutathione. The hydrazide is specifically combined with a carbohydrate of the glycoprotein for the N-coupled type. A diameter of the gold nano-particle is 1-2 nm. The protein comprises Asn-XSer/Thr (N-X-S/T) of an amino acid consensus sequence which is optimized in an N-glycosylation.
