PURPOSE: A friction material composition for ceramic composite disk is provided to reduce the noise generated in brakes with low aggressiveness of ceramic disk and high fade resistance and abrasion resistance at high temperature.;CONSTITUTION: A friction material composition for ceramic composite includes a friction modifier comprising silicone-modified phenol, potassium titanate inorganic fiber, brass or Fe-containing metal fiber, aramide organic fiber, and chromite to which one or more compounds selected from a group of Al2O3, SiC, Fe3O4, MgO, ZrO2, and ZrSiO4 are added, and a lubricant. The particle size of the chromite is 1-50 micron.
