PRIMER FOR DETECTING OF LATENT REPLICATION OF KSHV AND METHOD FOR DETECTING LATENT REPLICATION OF KSHV

PURPOSE: A primer for detecting latent replication of KSHV is provided to verify latent replication of KSHV and quantitative increase of replication efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A primer set for detecting latent replication of KSHV has primers with nucleic acid sequences of sequence numbers 1 and 2. A method for detecting latent replication of KSHV comprises the steps of: isolating DNA from mammalian cells and treating the DNA with DpnI; performing real-time PCR using the primer set; and analyzing the amplified product by 2 delta threshold cycle. The method also comprises the step of identifying the presence of TR vector in mammalian cells.
