TOUCH POSITION MEASURING METHOD OF A TOUCH PANEL SENSOR AND A TOUCH PANEL SENSOR USING THE METHOD CAPABLE OF USING RESERVE COORDINATES OF AN OBJECT

PURPOSE: A touch position measuring method of a touch panel sensor and a touch panel sensor using the method are provided to calculate a touch position more accurately than a case that touch coordinates of an object are calculated with an electrical change measured in all pattern units.;CONSTITUTION: Pattern units (220) generate an electrical change according to a touch of an object and are arranged in one direction. A control unit (240) is connected with the pattern units and calculates reserve coordinates of the object by primarily using all of the pattern units. The control unit specifies a measurement pattern unit adjacent to the reserve coordinates and uses only an electrical change measured in the pattern unit in order to calculate actual coordinates.
