PURPOSE: A displacement measuring device for a tool using a capacitive displacement sensor is provided to improve the response and accuracy of a sensor by purging the contaminated sensor using compressed air.;CONSTITUTION: A displacement measuring device for a tool using a capacitive displacement sensor comprises a target (12), a sensor assembly (9), a retainer (8), a tube (10), and a controller. The target is installed on the outer surface of a spindle rotor (11) of a headstock on which a tool is installed. A target groove (12a) is formed on the outer surface of the target. The sensor assembly is installed on the outer surface of the target and senses the displacement of the target groove. The retainer is installed on the outer surface of the sensor assembly, and a pipeline (81) for supplying air is formed thereon. The tube connects the pipeline of the retainer and the sensor assembly to each other. The controller is connected to the sensor assembly and calculates the displacement of the tool using the signal inputted from a capacitive displacement sensor.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
