PURPOSE: A device for preventing foreign materials from flowing into the headstock of a machine tool and washing the spindle of the machine tool is provided to remove chips caught in the gap between a tool and the headstock of a machine tool using cutting oil.;CONSTITUTION: A device for preventing foreign materials from flowing into the headstock of a machine tool and washing the spindle of the machine to comprises a spindle (11), an HSK type tool (10), a head body (12), a connection pipe (13), a manifold (14), an air check valve (15), an air solenoid valve (16), an air booster (18), a cutting oil check valve (19), and a cutting oil solenoid valve (20). The spindle is rotated by a motor. The HSK type tool is installed on the front end of the spindle. The head body surrounds the spindle and has a flow path. The connection pipe is connected to the flow path. The manifold is connected to the connection pipe. The air check valve is connected to the manifold. The air solenoid valve is connected to the air check valve. The air booster is connected to the air solenoid valve. The cutting oil check valve is connected to the manifold.
