PURPOSE: A purge device for combusting liquefied natural gas and a purge method using the same are provided to perform a purge work in the center of a city regardless of the surrounding facility because the length of flames is short and stable to shorten the purge working hours because the combusting speed is fast in the same flow rate.;CONSTITUTION: A purge device for combusting liquefied natural gas comprises a gas inlet (100), a manifold (200), a venturi pipe (300), and a flame holder (400). The flame holder is connected to the venturi pipe and a second air inlet (410) is formed. The manifold is connected to the gas inlet and includes a nozzle positioned inside the manifold. The gas supplied from the gas inlet is sprayed by the nozzle, is mixed with the first air supplied through a first air inlet (210), passes through the venturi pipe, is mixed with the second air supplied through the second air inlet, is discharged to the outside of the flame holder, and is combusted.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
