PURPOSE: A composition for treating malignant pleural mesothelioma is provided to be used as a potential chemopreventive and chemotherapeutic anticancer drug or a supplemental agent for malignant pleural mesothelioma (MPM) since cafestol and kahweol induce cancer cell apoptosis by regulating Sp1 target protein.;CONSTITUTION: A composition for treating malignant pleural mesothelioma (MPM) contains diterpenes group compound as an active ingredient.
