PURPOSE: An estimated position correcting apparatus of a terminal using a distance between the terminal and coordinates of an adjacent terminal in which dead reckoning is in progress and a correcting method thereof are provided to correct an estimated position of a terminal of a user.;CONSTITUTION: An estimated position correcting apparatus comprises a dead reckoning unit(10), a communications unit(20), and a distance measuring unit(30), and a correcting unit(40). The dead reckoning unit estimates a moving direction and a relative moving distance from the initial position of a self-node for a predetermined time and calculates estimated coordinates. The communications unit establishes a link between the self-node and an adjacent node by attempting connection to the adjacent node around the self-node. The communications unit receives estimated coordinates of the adjacent node from the adjacent node. The distance measuring unit calculates the difference between the self-node and the adjacent node through an electric field strength value of the adjacent node received by the communications unit. The correcting unit establishes a space of points on a circle within a distance estimated by the distance measuring unit.
