PURPOSE: A vehicle safety communication system considering progressive direction and speed of vehicle is provided to reduce the number of retransmitting messages by retransmitting the messages according to the progressive direction and speed of vehicle.;CONSTITUTION: A message is broadcasted by storing information of the source node through a vehicle safety communication unit(120). Neighboring nodes received the message calculates LET through a vehicle safety control unit(130). The value of LET is obtained according to the speed and direction between source node and surrounding node through the vehicle safety control unit. The vehicle safety control unit performs retransmission using the LET value in case of having lower value than the reference value. The message comprises information of source node. The node received message through the first broadcast calculates LET.
