The method involves measuring energy output values that are compared year by year from a comparable power curve of a photovoltaic or solar module through a variable delivered by a photovoltaic generator so that energy differences are determined on the basis of classes. The data of comparable days having the power curve are observed over multiple years. An independent claim is also included for a solar plant for implementing a method for determining a power reduction due to ageing of a photovoltaic or solar module at constant radiation intensity.
