PURPOSE: An automatic beam collecting device and a non-destructive inspection method using the same are provided to accurately collect beams from an object in which a surface shape and a property of matter are complex and to improve the accuracy of a defect inspection. CONSTITUTION: An automatic beam collecting device comprises an array transducer(100) and a controlling unit(300). A shape of the array transducer is varied so that the array transducer is closely adhered to an object(10). A plurality of ultrasonic sensors(110) is arranged in the array transducer. The controlling unit detects defects of the object based on the propagation time of the ultrasonic waves to the object in the state that advance information with respect to the array transducer or object are not known. The advance information includes at least one among surface geometry of the object, an ultrasonic speed, a speed variation of the ultrasonic waves depending on sound pressure, material properties, a size and arrangement space of the ultrasonic sensor.
